SterlingCool 50 Mixing Guide
SterlingCool-50 is a premium chlorinated, heavy-duty, semi-synthetic coolant. It contains a high amount of boundary lubrication recommended for tough machining of steel, stainless steel, carbon steel, alloy steel, exotic alloys, cast iron, ductile iron, aluminum, copper, titanium and most other ferrous and nonferrous metals. It also has our extreme pressure lubrication technology providing excellent tool life for the toughest applications while also keeping machines running clean and free of bad odors associated with bacteria. It is formulated with bio-resistant technology protecting it against bacteria and mold without the use of traditional biocides, such as formaldehyde release biocides or DCHA. SterlingCool 50 will not sour or go rancid and provides exceptionally long sump life. This premium coolant has extremely low mist levels and is very operator friendly making it easy to see through the windows of machines while machining and is gentle to operators’ skin. NOT for use on magnesium.
